What we Do

After School and Summer Program and Online content Exposing Kids 8-15 to aviation

Lindbergh Aviation Program has spoken to over five hundred students about the benefits of an Aviation Career. most had no idea about the aviation industry. Studies have shown that youth in Middle School have the highest capacity to learn new things. the FAA Task Force found students need to start at least 10 years old to expose them to aviation.  Lindbergh Aviation Program and Delta Airlines have designed a program that allows them to see a whole new world and show them a path to a career after High School. Youth need to see what they can be.


Facts

  • Over 1/2 a million people worked in the Aviation Industry in the US last year.
  • Over eighty-seven million jobs are Aviation related, that is over a quarter 1/4 of the people in the US
  • Average Aviation job salaries Aerospace Engineer - 115,220.00 Pilot - 115,670.00 Aviation or Avionics Mechanic - 63,070.00 Air Traffic Controller - 124,540.00 
  • Overall employment of aircraft and avionics equipment mechanics and technicians is projected to grow 11 percent from 2020 to 2030, faster than the average for all occupations. The average salary for these jobs are $65,000.00

A great Athlete or Entertainer has confidence because they know they have done the work necessary to perform. 'I'm So Fly" is how we show students that by learning aviation they will have  the confidence they need to be a part of this exciting industry.

    Whether it is pilot lessons or a referral to an aviation entry job. Lindbergh Aviation will be with you every step of the way. We have career events where schools come out, other organizations and information that you or your child can get to help you on a path to aviation. 


    With our relationship with Delta Airlines, we help prepare you to be an ideal candidate.
